Policies

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and bank issued debit cards are all accepted at the time of rent. The estimated total price of the rental plus a 300 USD refundable security deposit will be held on the card at pickup. Any unused authorization will be released to the customers bank and from there may take 3 to 5 business days to become available to the customer.

Cash, checks and prepaid cards are not accepted.

Renters must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a major credit card or debit card in their name. Customers using a debit card must have a roundtrip airline ticket.

An International Driver License is required if the driver's license is from outside of the USA or Canada.

Proof of FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE that will transfer to the rental vehicle must be presented at the time of pick up.

Vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. The customer can pre-purchase fuel at the counter at a discounted rate and return on empty. Customers who do not pre-purchase fuel and return with less fuel than when rented will be charged a penalty re-fueling fee. Prepaid fuel and re-fueling rates vary based on going fuel prices.

Non-prepaid customers will receive a grace period of 4-hours after their scheduled pick-up time to receive the vehicle. After the 4-hour grace period, non-prepaid reservations will be subject to availability. Please call the location directly for any flight delays or same-day changes in pick-up time.

Cross-bordering is only permitted to Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Vehicles are not allowed into Mexico or permitted to be within 25 miles of the US/Mexico border.

Unauthorized cross-bordering will result in a 250 USD penalty fee.

Local renters are defined as any renter with a New Mexico drivers license. Local renters must be at least 25 years of age, have a major credit card in their name, and proof of full coverage vehicle insurance that transfers to the rental vehicle.

All renters and additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a major credit or debit card in their name.

Drivers 21-24 will be charged a Young Driver fee of 25 USD per day.

The Additional Driver fee is 15 USD per day. Spouses drive for free.
